Not your typical car rental experience! You really are getting "the" car not "a" car, like the commercial says. They have plenty of agents working so you don't feel rushed to get through the line as fast as possible without any regard to the actual vehicle that you're getting. The agent was very patient and made sure I got a vehicle that I liked. He even let me go out and look at the vehicles so I could choose which one I wanted. He said, "They're all unlocked. Go check 'em out." I would absolutely choose Sixt every time, though sometimes they can be pretty pricey. I did notice that the prices varied greatly from day to day, so I'd advise checking their site regularly and lock in when you find a rate within your budget.

The airport shuttle was easy to find and didn't take long to arrive at all. The shuttle driver was super nice and helpful. Pickup was pretty easy but the line was long. It was my first time renting and I used the mobile app. I was a little confused about the key pickup so I still waited for a person at the desk for assistance which took a while but they were very friendly and helpful. Definitely use the app as the wait can be long even with several people working the desks. My only hesitation was all the reviews about being charged for damage to the vehicle. While I received an upgrade 🎉🎉, the car had several damages and wasn’t clean. I tried to list the damages in the app and it wouldn’t accept it. The person at the exit gate tried to help but she couldn’t get it to work either so she told me to make a video of the car. That part felt uneasy. Apparently cracked windshields are a thing in Denver because the windshield had several cracks and other damage from previous renters. My car was a 2023 BMW X5. I enjoyed driving it so much. It was pretty hot the first few days I was there and the AC didn’t get that cold but I made it work. The return was easy and once again the person was nice and helpful. I would definitely rent from them again.
