Age and License Requirements
You must be 21 or older in order to rent a car in Colombia and have a valid driving license. Any license that is printed in a non-Roman alphabet must also be accompanied by an International Drivers Permit (IDP). Valid licenses from all European Union countries are acceptable. If you are an international customer, be sure to have your passport with you at the time of your car rental pick up.
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and should be refilled prior to their return. Rentals not returned full may have refueling charges apply. Alternatively, you may purchase a full tank of fuel at the time of rental at a price that is competitive with local fuel stations and return the tank empty.

The national speed limit is 80 km/h with some specific areas being 100 km/h when marked accordingly. November to February is rainy season, which can cause some driving delays.
