My first time using SIXT- I had concerns, but its a legit company! The check in process was super easy- did it on line- walked to where the cars were kept, my phone was scanned and I was given a key. No surprise charges, no push to upgrade or buy insurance (if you have insurance you DO NOT have to buy their insurance). Off to a great start. Then the car- I did not rent a top of the line car, but I assumed I would get a car that was not damaged. My car had visible damage to the car- someone see scraped the side of the car. The passenger seat had a large dark stain. I was surprised they were renting out a car in this condition. I have rented many cars and never had this much damage. I went to ask for a different car- the counter person was dismissive, did not even listen to my request and kept telling me to check my phone because the damage was noted. Due to time- I just left. The drop off process was super easy. Just disappointed about their customer service and condition of my rental car.
